- Communication: To send you deadline reminders, scholarship matches, and platform updates.
3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

- With Partner Universities: If you opt into the University Talent Radar, partner institutions looking for high-grit students may view your academic and psychometric profile to offer you admission or funding opportunities.
- With Mentors: When you request a Mentor, we share limited profile details (such as your target scholarship and background) so they can effectively guide you. Private essays are only shared if you explicitly choose to share them.
- With Service Providers: We use trusted third-party cloud infrastructure and LLM providers to host our platform and process AI requests. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and cannot use your data for their own purposes.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety and rights of our users or GritGateway.
